| What is ViP? |
The Value in Purchasing (ViP) program is the only national group purchasing program endorsed by the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC). The program is simple and user-friendly. In most cases, Health Centers will generally start experiencing savings immediately. Key Benefits of ViP: -Savings on average 25%-38% -No membership fees -No contractual obligation -Streamline ordering -User friendly features -Ease of use and implementation Products and Services include but are not limited to: Medical Supplies: VIP offers over 120 medical and surgical supply agreements that cover more than 150,000 line items. These offerings include branded and private label products. Office Supplies: Save 25-38% with our OfficeMax and Staples on all your office supply purchases. Printing/Promotional Services: Need promotional items or custom printing services? Take advantage of the savings through our American Solutions for Business Contract and OfficeMax. Health Information Technology Support and Services: Take advantage of our Sprint, AT&T, GE, Welch Allyn contracts. Savings on average of 23% for health center employees and family members. Capital Equipment: Are you building a new facility? Use our extensive contract portfolio and experience savings on over 150,000 items for your new facility.

| What are the differences between ViP and other group purchasing programs? ViP is the only national program supporting the mission of America’s Health Centers and seeking to leverage their collective purchasing power. ViP is managed through Community Health Ventures, the business development affiliate of the National Association of Community Health Centers, and is the only group purchasing program, national or otherwise, endorsed by NACHC. How many Health Centers are using the program? We currently have the pleasure of serving over 400 health centers with 1,500 sites all across the country. How much will I expect to save? Most centers can expect to experience between 18% - 38% savings. Will it cost me anything to sign up? No. There are no fees to use the Value in Purchasing Program. Do you have to be a NACHC member to join? No you do not. FQHCs, County Health Departments, and FQHC Look-a-likes are all currently enjoying the benefits. How long will it take before I start seeing the savings after I submit my enrollment paperwork? It may take up to 30-45 days until the manufacturing contracts are uploaded and you start experiencing the savings. |
